# Delete an image (/api/images/delete-image)

`DELETE https://api.comecero.com/api/v1/images/{image_id}`

Deletes an image and its copies from the CDN for good. Products that list it in `image_ids` keep the id, but it no longer appears in their `images`. Secret and trusted tokens may call it.

## Parameters

- `image_id` (path, required): The image id.

Responses: 204, 401, 403, 404, 500.
