# Create a payment link (/api/invoices/create-invoice-link)

`POST https://api.comecero.com/api/v1/invoices/{invoice_id}/links`

Makes a new link the customer can open to see and pay an open invoice, and returns it. Nothing is emailed: use it to send the link yourself. Each call makes a new link; links expire after 30 days. The link is built on the host of the app installed for invoice payments, or else the first app host in your technical settings. Returns `422` when the invoice is closed or there is no host. Takes a secret, trusted or limited token. A limited token must be bound to the invoice and cannot see a draft.

Responses: 200, 401, 403, 404, 422, 500.
