# Delete a product (/api/products/delete-product)

`DELETE https://api.comecero.com/api/v1/products/{product_id}`

Marks a product deleted and inactive. It is not erased: orders keep pointing at it, you can still read it, and you can bring it back by updating it with `deleted: false` or `active: true`. Fires the `product.deleted` event. Secret and trusted tokens may call it.

## Parameters

- `product_id` (path, required): The product id.

Responses: 204, 401, 403, 404, 500.
