# Delete a promotion (/api/promotions/delete-promotion)

`DELETE https://api.comecero.com/api/v1/promotions/{promotion_id}`

Deletes a promotion for good. Its code stops working at once. To stop a promotion and keep its history, update it with `active: false` instead. Secret and trusted tokens may call it.

## Parameters

- `promotion_id` (path, required): The promotion id.

Responses: 204, 401, 403, 404, 500.
