Delete a role

DELETE
/roles/{role_id}

Deletes a role. Users and tokens that list it keep the role_id but no longer get its permissions.

Secret and trusted tokens may call this with the roles delete permission.

The role's role_id.

Response Body

The role is deleted. No body.

Get a role GET

Gets one role. A role of the other mode is not found (`404`). Secret and trusted tokens may call this with the `roles` read permission.

Replace a role PUT

Replaces a role with the one you send. This is `PUT`, not `POST`: send the whole role, including its `role_id` (`400` without it) and at least one permission. Fields you leave out are cleared. Secret and trusted tokens may call this with the `roles` update permission.
